23 November: Seven-O-Seven Operations Members' Train to Ballarat
Compartment Seating and Lounges
Our fleet of restored 1950's seating carriages are the perfect place to relax, have a chat and enjoy the stunning Victorian scenery as we make our way well off the beaten the path to some of the most interesting destinations in the state.
707 Operations has a strong commitment to Regional Victoria and to sharing Victoria's rail heritage with the residents of towns and regions that we visit, many of which may not have seen a passenger train in over a generation.
Each Slow Rail Journey includes a number of seated carriages which are primarily used to offer short journeys to local residents while on tour. When the carriages aren't full they are available to all guests to stretch out, have a chat, relax or simply enjoy the view on the opposite side of the train.
707 Operations is the custodian of a number of seated compartment carriages that feature individual compartments with closing doors, a panoramic window and sofa-style seating.
All Compartment seating carriages feature:
-
Facing sofa style seating designed for six or eight passengers;
-
Doors that can be closed for additional privacy
-
Air conditioning; and
-
Individual lighting controls.
